Dale Hart has more than twenty years of experience working with non-profit organizations. His professional training is in education, where he spent ten years as a high school teacher and coach. This background has been invaluable as Dale transferred his “coaching” skills to the education and improvement of nonprofit organizations and leaders.
In 1993, Dale became Executive Vice-President of Development for Christ’s Haven for Children. During his time with Christ’s Haven, the home for children increased its annual revenue from $750,000 to $1.5 million, established an endowment, and made numerous capital improvements to the 50+ year-old campus in Keller, Texas.
Dale’s roots in education took him to Dallas Christian School in 2000 as Vice-President of Development. He spent three years at DCS before returning to Fort Worth as Executive Director and President of Open Arms Home, a two-year program for women and children victims of domestic violence. In 2006, Dale was instrumental in facilitating a merger between Open Arms Home and the Community Enrichment Center of North Richland Hills.
Following the 2006 merger, Dale started Anchor Consulting Group to work with nonprofit organizations in need of education, guidance, and training. Since then, he has helped start more than 25 nonprofit organizations and provided training and help to countless others. Dale also served as Executive Director of Teen Lifeline and the Keller ISD Education Foundation, as well as a director for Teen Lifeline, and an advisory board member for The Mercy Foundation, Impossible Possibilities, and Driving Hope. He is a past member of the Community Enrichment Center Board of Directors, the Keller ISD Community Advisory Board, the Texas High School Coaches Association, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
Dale and his wife Lynette have been married 28 years, reside in Hurst, Texas and have two married children, Bailey and Emily. Although his professional experience is varied, Dale has a real commitment to serving nonprofit organizations and leaders.
